ABOUT MY FAMILY DAYCARE
My home daycare is in a convenient location near Washington park. I create an intimate family-like atmosphere with individualized attention by maintaining low enrollment. The children in care range from 10 months old to school age offering opportunities to play with siblings, learn social skills and make friends. They engage in activities that stimulate social, physical and intellectual growth including kindergarten preparedness. Opportunities are provided for children to learn through creative play, self-expression and making choices. Outdoor play, arts and crafts, and fine and gross motor activities are provided. Most of all we have fun and laugh every day.
Karena Oyler
I am a UW graduate and have been serving Laramie families as a licensed child care provider in my home since 1997. I have a high level of patience with an immense love and compassion for children. I continually improve my skills as a childcare provider through training and professional development opportunities. Providing excellent supervision and a safe and nurturing environment are my top priorities. My husband is a first grade teacher and we are recent empty-nesters of two sons, Michael and Tyler.

I went to Karena’s Korner since I could remember. I absolutely love Karena, and all the younger and older kids I grew up with. I started going here as a baby, and by the time I was 5 or 6, I was always wanting to help with the younger kiddos. Karena has driven me to someday have my own at home daycare.
